NEW CRUISING FEE SCHEDULE

As of April 1, 2026, The Bahamas Customs and Immigration Department has published a new, extended list of cruising fees for yachtsmen coming to the Bahamas. Some of the fees remain the same while others are added or changed. In particular, note that they have added fee schedules for 30 days and 6 months in some cases, in addition to the original 12-month schedule. Also note that yachtsmen are now subject to extra charges for the Customs and Immigration officers transportation and weekend visits.

New Fee Structure as of April 1, 2026:

2026 CRUISING PERMIT FEES

UP TO 30 DAYS: 

• Up to 30 ft -- $150

• 30-50ft--$250

• 51-99 ft-- $350

• 100+ ft --$600

 

Covered: 

• the cost of an initial-entry cruising permit

• return visit within ninety (90) days

• transportation & overtime fees for officers

• two adults plus children under 3 years old

• $30 each additional passenger

UP TO SIX MONTHS: (includes one free reentry)

• Up to 50 ft -- $300

• 51-99 ft -- $750

• 100+ ft -- $2,000

UP TO 12 MONTHS: (includes two free reentries)

• Up to 50 ft -- $500

• 51-99 ft -- $1,000

• 100+ ft -- $3,000

FREQUENT DIGITAL CRUISING CARD (FDCC)

Covered: Unlimited visits
Not Covered: Customs and Immigration officers attendance and travel 

 

UP TO ONE YEAR:

• Up to 50 ft --$200

• 51-99 ft -- $350

• 100+ ft -- $1,500

UP TO TWO YEARS:

• Up to 50 ft --$1,500

• 51-99 ft -- $2,500

• 100+ ft -- $8,000

FISHING PERMIT

• Up to 50 ft -- $100

• 51+ ft -- $300 (Ask for a fishing endorsement when you clear in. Must renew in 30 days)
