For my 30th B’day in 1983, I figured it was finally time to get a big enough boat to live aboard. Bought a 1976 DownEast 32 in Annapolis and life took off! I met Karen through friends, she moved aboard, we got married aboard the first Dream Seeker and have never looked back. Bought the 1984 Annapolis Boat Show Tayana 37 and spent 28 years living aboard mostly in FLL with occasional runs over to the Bahamas. Retired, the second time, in Annapolis and began full time cruising aboard our Eagle 40 trawler, Avalon. We go back and forth between NE and the Bahamas with obligatory stops in Vero and Annapolis. There’s a lot left out here but I’ve got to save something for Boat Drinks aboard various friends, old and new, boats.
